Hi Sonya,
We just want to say thank you for "Angus". He's an absolute joy in our home. He is so sweet, and so incredibly smart. He goes into his crate on his own, and potty training was easier than I thought it would be. He is 6 months now, and weighs about 75lbs. We bought a kiddie pool for him so he can splash around in during the summer. He also loves his "big" brother, Jack (our tiny rabbit)!

I included the pictures below so you could see him doing his favorite thing…pulling palm fronds from the coconut trees, then he drags them all around the back yard! He also loves to go for rides in the back of our golf cart. The neighbors must think we're crazy, but it's so much fun!

Thank you so much for all your help, and for our baby!

Dear Sonya

Shiloh is learning to "Come", knows her name, sits to get her meals and to be petted, and at night she leads me to her "kennel" to go to bed. Her potty training is going very well, as long as I remember to take her out on time. Ha!! She goes "Tinkle" and "Big Potty" on command (most of the time). Shiloh is learning how to carry the mail, you should see her "strutt her stuff". We think she is just about the smartest puppy ever!!!

Sincerely

Pat~ Port Orange FL

Sonya,

Hope everything is well. I wanted to give you an update on Razor from Camo x Peaches. I took him to the Vet for a booster. I was suprised to find he weighed 123lbs at 9 months. I figured a 100lbs. He is between 25 and 26 inches at the shoulder right now. He isnt fat, maybe could use a little. He is a great companion. He loves to be around people and other dogs. He loves the beach. He has the lowest roaring bark we ever heard. He is becoming a very good watchdog.

Sincerely,

Jeff Snyder

Hi Sonya Just dropping you a line to let you know Titan is doing great. He has the most energy. He is by no means lazy. Just wanted to send you some recent pictures of him. You cannot even touch Titans leash that he don't go crazy. He loves to go on walks. And his collar is a must, if you take it off him he will put his head back through it to have it on. He is just a blessing. Lynn and Chris Nordlinder FL 8-4-07

Here is a puppy gone home, now all grown up and on the cover of the 2008 Bullmastiff Calendar!! We are SOOO proud!! "Bear" is now Juley's boy at MossyOaks Bullmastiff. He is a Ch. JusticeXMandy Sue boy from a couple of years ago. Way to GO Bear!! (LonelyCreek's Count on Cowboy)

Hi Sonya,
These pictures are special to me because so many people think big dogs are "dangerous" around little kids. Even my mom was a bit worried when we told her we were getting a bullmastiff last year. These are pictures of my 25 pound 2 year old walking izzie , a 100 pound bullmastiff. i think that says enough right there! She loves her Kuranda bed by the way, they are awsome. Aiden gets in it as you can see and "reads" to her. She never seems to mind. Well have a great night & we will send you more updates as always!

Good Morning Sonya, I hope everything is well. Maddy is great. Loves to swim. Our friends just love how smart she is and
how relaxed. She does love the water at least 4 times aday in the pool or sprinklers.

Good morning, Sonya! She is an angel! potty training is going extremely well... I think I might buy a clicker today. We've been giving her a treat everytime she goes potty outside. Not one inside accident yet. She's been sleeping from 10-6 almost every day now. She didn't go potty last night before bed so I did get up with her at 3 to let her pee... She gets so ecited with the girls. They've learned not to tease her with their toys... She gets so excited and jumps on them... I read the dog scout web page which was extremely helpful! Attached is a picture... Sasha took over the playground... She loves playing and digging in the sandbox. The pool is now an interest to her... Im wondering if she'll try and jump in this week... Kitty (my cat) is coming around... Sasha wants to play with her so bad and kitty just looks at her... The cat will sit on the second step to the basement and the dog at the top of the step, she cries for kitty to play with her and its not happening... Enjoying the angel... Have a great week!

Hi Sonya,

I'm sorry that I haven't sent you any emails lately, things have been really crazy lately. Milo is getting so big, he weighs around 80 lbs. now. He recently started school and has learned a lot!!! I take him to dog parks in the area and he gets along well with the dogs there, but his favorite thing to do is to play in the sprinkler!!! :) He has been nothing but a complete joy in my life!!! Thank you so much.
Jillian in MO 7-15-07

Hi Sonya,

I know I already sent you some up to date pictures but these were to good not to share! This is Dozer "the lifeguard" When the kids are in the pool, he watches them and walks around and around (he hasn't jumped in yet) He turned six months on 7-17 and is 80 lbs! He is doing great in school and has also joined a puppy play group. Of course, he is the biggest puppy but he doesn't even realize it, too cute.

Dear Tim and Sonya

This is "Josh" now named Bear from PorkChopX DeeDee litter last summer now 1 year old!

My daughters love him and he loves them, we have to keep a lot of chew toys around so he will not chew on anything because he will chew on things! We get a lot of compliments on him, people ask me all the time "where did you get him from?" and I tell them "LonelyCreek".

Marquis Bowles TN 6-27-07

Hi Sonya,

Here are some pics of Rocco. The small dog is his best friend "Monster". Rocco is very well behaved. He spends most of his time
sleeping, eating, and drooling, but he is a sweet boy, and always happy to meet other people and other dogs. He has also met horses and
cows. He is very obedient, and easy to train. I hope that he will develop to be a good guard dog like Camo. Right now, he does not even
bark. He just licks everyone and wants to be scratched on his belly!

Dear Sonya

We took her to the vet last Friday, everyone loved her. We have named her Stella. She has responded to her name great. She is an excellent and very smart dog. The kids love her and so do we. Stella has adjusted so nicely to our home. I will keep in touch and send more pictures in the weeks to come.
Thank you again for her.

Sincerely,
Christie, FL 6-14-07 Update you can see she is now all grown up.

Hello Sonya!
We wanted to send some pics of our boy, Thor. He's gotten so big. He's 9 months approximately and about 85lbs the last time he was weighed. (Which was a couple of weeks ago) He is absolutely the most perfect dog. He is exactly what all the books and web sites describe of the breed in general. After all the research we did with different breeders we are so happy we chose you! You were so great with updating us with information and quick to respond to emails or phone calls. He is not one of those dogs who barks at just anything. He is always watching, observing and assessing the situation. He is a big teddy bear and loves to meet people. He's great with kids and is doing great with his obedience. He loves to go for swims in our lake and is great at fetch.(After we taught him how!) Well, just wanted to show you what a beautiful boy he's turned out to be!

Thank you for everything,

Ben, Chelcie, and Thor(DurangoXDiamond Girl)

Sonya,

Just thought I'd give you an update and a picture of our DDB "Drew". She is absolutely fabulous, we love her temperment and she is great with our daughter. We have been giving her the gelatin and NuVet supplements daily and she and my bassett hound really like the egg mixed in with the gelatin, as you suggested. The drive was definitely worth it. Thank you again, so very much.

Here are a new picture of Dash. These were taken May 7, 2007. That would make him just over 13 months old.

I've had him for one year today. Time flies! He is, still, absolutely wonderful. Sweet, gentle, utterly handsome. He is quiet...if he barks, it's usually once or maybe twice. Big deep "woofs" and it's because I need to know something. He is tolerant of new people or strangers if I am with him, but is not necessarily friendly, which is a trait I really like. He seems to pretty much care only about where I am and what I am doing, or friends/family of mine that are around the most. He does really like other dogs and is very friendly (he has three or four regular playmates), but if we are out walking in the neighborhood and a dog charges a fence, he is non-plussed. Just keeps on walking.

I am literally stopped in the street on a regular basis and asked all about him and the breed in general. Today we were at an outdoor sculpture park and I must have had 10 people stop me. Everyone says "he is so big!", but I gotta tell you that to me, he's still that little baby boy who came on the plane last year.

He's fantastic and we are having so much fun!

Dear Sonya

We are proud of our puppy Buford.

He gets the paper every other morning. My lab gets it the other mornings. He does everything that Rocky the Lab does so I sat him down and sent Rocky out to get it for a couple of mornings and he watched. Then I sent him and he went and got it. He wanted to carry it off but I have been working with him and now he brings it right to me. He is super quick to learn. Here is new picture of him getting paper.

We are so pleased with our new puppy from Lonely Creek! When we were researching breeders Sonya was one of the few to reply to our inquiries and when she did she was so friendly and helpful. I was pleased that she asked questions about us because it showed that she cared about where her puppies go. Sonya sent updated photos to us and never seemed to mind my endless questions. When our puppy arrived he was happy, healthy and gorgeous! He was loving and sweet from the moment he arrived and each day with him is a joy. I’ve never seen my husband so happy or proud and my son can’t stop saying, “Thank you for the Perfect dog.”

Thank you Sonya!

Hello Mom!

I am doing great at the Walker’s home. They call me “Thumper”. I have had my 1st round of shots and go next Friday the 15th for round two. I’ve had my first Sentinel pill and I take my vitamins and jello every day. I’ve had a couple baths, just so I know what it’s like. I stay nice and clean because I get to live inside. I have my own crate that I sleep in at night, and during the day I get to sleep wherever I want, and play with lots of toys. In the mornings my new dad puts me on their bed so I can snuggle with my new mom. I get to eat Nutro food and get real beef bones to chew on almost every day.

And guess what? I even go to school!! It’s at a place called Pets Mart and it’s the best fun. There are other puppies to play with and lots of people in different sizes that all love ME. I really like the kids, the younger the better. I’ve met a couple of cats but they don’t like me. I get new toys and treats at the store after class. I am halfway through the puppy class and am already signed up for the intermediate level. I am the teacher’s favorite student. My mom says I am REAL smart and the easiest dog she’s ever trained. My brother Ryan taught me to “high five” by touching his hand with my paw. It took me about 5 minutes ;-)

Every day I get to play some with two dogs that were here first. They didn’t care too much for me at first but they are coming around. Besides, I now weigh 30 pounds so I’m bigger than the Jack Russell so nanny nanny boo boo!! I’m still respectful of the German Shepard as I’ve seen what she does to the JR when JR picks on her too much. I get to lay around in the sunshine and follow everyone to the barn. There are these really big dogs here that have funny looking tails and eat grass. Mom calls them horses. When they walk my way and snort I run for cover. I try to play with them but mom won’t let me get too close.

I enjoy riding in the car and going shopping. I’ve been to all kinds of stores. Mom tells them something and they let me in. She says it’s good for me to go all these places and see things like wheelchairs and shopping carts and people of different sizes and colors. Nothing much scares me that’s for sure.

My mom says tomorrow she’s going to take some new pictures of me and some of the horses she’s got for sale for a buyer. She will send mine to you. I will show you how Ryan and I do the “high five”. Whatever that is it sure makes people laugh!

Love,

Thumper

Hi Sonya!!

Sorry for the late response but Targhee and I were road tripping up to San Jose CA last week so I didn't get a chance to respond to you. Targhee is doing GREAT!!! I think he has already doubled in size since his arrival. I had to get a bigger crate for him to travel in my truck because on the way up there I noticed how cramped he was in the one he came out in!! Amazing how fast he is growing. He seems to already be pretty much crate trained!! He has only wizzed in the house 3 times and that was during that first week he was here. Now he even goes to the door and whines a bit so I just let him out and he goes and does his duty!! I am completely amazed at how quickly he has picked all of this up and he is probably the most laid back and calm puppy I have ever encountered. Are all Bull's so easy when they are pups??!!!! I have attached a couple of pics of him when we traveled up to San Jose for you to take a look at!! He is probably the cutest pup I have ever seen!!!

Sonya, just wanted to send you a quick note. Abigail is doing great- it's like she has been trained since birth- she had 1/2 of an accident in the house this morning before Erin stopped her a got her outside. She knows to go to the door when she wants out and when she is tired to she goes to her kennel to go to sleep. We really like her personality and are have a lot of fun with her. She has been to show & tell at my sons school twice already he is a proud "Master".

Herc is such a great dog, we just love him to death. He follows me around like a little kid and will lay against anything that I am sitting on. I have to look before I get up so I don't step on him.
He is so funny. I will make kissing noises and he will wake up if he is sleeping or stop what he is doing (even if he is eating) to come over to me and put the side of his face next to my lips to wait for his kisses. If I haven't kissed him lately he will take his paws and move things out of the way and put his face next to mine and sit there until I kiss him. Sometimes I wake up with his nose touching my cheek. He is soooooooooo smart and follows commands very well. He will walk right beside me and if he starts to walk away I just say "et" and he comes right back. I only do it in the yard, I don't dare do it while on walks.
He still gets along with the little dog and watches everything she does. He trys to hog the food and push Xena away so he can eat first and I will look at him certain way and clear my throat and he will go and lay down and watch her eat and won't get back up until I tell him that it is OK even if Xena is done eating.
Too bad you weren't closer you could see him. He is such a lover. I know I will always have a bullmastiff. I just love this breed. If your ever in this area give me a call and I can meet you so you can see Herc.

Sonya,

We purchased a dog from you about two years ago. WE LOVE HER SO MUCH!! She is the best dog, she is so much fun to have around and the biggest snuggle dog I have ever had.

Beth Krider

Sonya,
I can't begin to tell you how happy we both are with Veruca. Kathryn got the naming rights since I got to pick her (fair trade I think), I call her Rooka, sometimes Rooka Bazooka. She's a total blast to have around the house, exactly the little buddy I was looking for!
I mean don't get me wrong, it's still alot of work (and we still of course have alot to go) but she's really begining to learn what's it's like to be a dog in our household, so many new rules, but she's finding out the rewards are quite worth the effort. Instead of putting the knox on her food, I mix it with some chicken stock and cut it into cubes for treats. She will do just about anything now to get one of those (or one of her vitamins) , sit, laydown, get in her cart, we're working on stay, but she's a puppy so stay hasn't gotten into her vocabulary yet ha-ha
She's still got some little puppy problems, she's a bit nippy still, but not nearly as much as she was two weeks ago, she's learning biting is not acceptable.

Housebreaking, has been alot easier than I expected. A first she was having the occasional #1 accident in the house, and two or three times in the crate overnight (luckily that hasn't happened for while). But I've been keeping a close eye on her and the few times I caught her mid-pee, I gave the the loud NO, picked her up and put her out the door, so it really hasn't been nearly as hard as I remember it being with my other dogs, she hasn't tried to go in the house for atleast 4-5 days now, and knock on wood, she hasn't pooed in the once house yet.

Thanks for your time and thanks for a fantastic little doggie, we just love her to bits!
Russ VA
PS somebody yesterday asked me if she likes the snow, we got another 6inches yesterday. I had to say, she doesn't know any other weather yet, ha-ha! It was so cold the first two weeks I had her, then it got warm for two days, then cold, then snow again. Luckily she doesn't mind and I got her a jacket, so she's little trooper when it comes to going out, hasn't effect her training too much at all.

Rooka Bazooka (Veruca) in Snow!

Dear Sonya

Just wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying our babies we got from you. They are so special and we love them dearly. We have never had puppies that were so sound in temperament when we got them at 8 weeks. We have had so much fun with them the last year and 9 months. They are our kids for sure. They even love dressing up for Halloween as you can see in the pics. Thank you so much for doing such a magnificent job in raising such great puppies. I would recommend you highly as a very caring breeder of such a noble breed.

One of the things Bobbie and I really enjoyed was visiting our puppies every two weeks before we could bring them home. We made three trips to Sonya's to visit. We were extremely impressed with her facility. The nursery area was awesome, and so clean. We really were impressed at the cleanliness of her place. Her dogs all have spacious areas and you could tell were loved and very well cared for. We will always return to Sonya for puppies. Also have sent a more flattering pic of Malachi and Rebekah. We love our dogs very much and thank Sonya on her expertise in raising them and enabling them to be so adaptable to their new homes. Our puppies already knew about a doggie door when they came home and we have had only about 6 accidents in the house since we have had them and that was our fault. We cannot brag enough on Sonya and her excellent expertise on raising puppies and the quality is impeccable. Thank you.

Sonya Max is the biggest sweetheart. He is such a lover! And everybody loves him too. He never has given us any trouble what so ever. He is very smart! He is potty trained and can sit and lay down like a champ! We are going to take him to some classes soon. We love him so much and I cant tell you how happy I am! Thank you very much!

Sonya,

I graduated Puppy Class today. Here's a picture of me and my friends. As you can see, I'm the biggest puppy in the class. We learned to walk on a leash, sit, lay down, puppy sit-ups, and jump through a hoop. I also like to crawl on the floor when mama is teasing me with a treat. I can spin in circles and today I came in second place in a relay race. My teacher wants me to come back to the next class. She thinks I did very well! We got a certificate and a BIG bag of treats. I like treats! I weighed 42.4 pounds today.

Bryanna passes her Good Canine Citizenship Test on Aug 18, 2007!!! WAY TO GO Guys!! We are SOOOO proud of you!!!

Here is a picture of me after I got home in my cap. Yes, I am precious!! My mama is proud of me and loves me very much!

I was looking for a large guard dog that would be great with children and I am happy to say that our Sargie Boy has been exactly that! Everything I read while researching the breed has been true. He has been the perfect addition to our family. He absolutely adores children and he has been a wonderful guardian to my two young boys. He is very gentle and affectionate. His temperament is outstanding and he looks great too! (We are so proud of his 2nd place ribbon from his very first dog show this spring!) I feel lucky to have lived close enough to be able to visit you and your dogs and see for myself what a wonderful kennel you have. I can’t believe it’s been three years already! Thank you for all of your advice and support!

HI SONYA,
JUST THOUGHT YOU MIGHT WANT AN UPDATE ON OUR LITTLE BABY. WE HAVE NAMED HER BELLA AND SHE GOT HER SHOTS TODAY. THE VET SAID SHE HAS A CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH.THEY COULD NOT GET OVER HER FACE AND HOW BIG SHE WAS. I HAVE GOOD NEWS ON THE HOME FRONT, SHE IS GETTING ALONG WITH MY CATS AND POTTY TRAINING VERY EASILY! ONLY 1 ACCIDENT, WHICH WAS MY FAULT OF COURSE. DO TO THE FACT THAT I WAS MOPPING THE HOUSE DOWN STAIRS AND WAS NOT WATCHING HER LIKE I HAVE BEEN FOR THE LAST 2 DAYS. SHE HAS HAD NO PROBLEMS ADJUSTING TO OUR HOME AT ALL, OR HER NEW FAMILY. CARLOS AND I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR WORKING W/US. SHE IS A BLESSING! WE BELIVE THAT WE WERE MENT TO HAVE HER BECAUSE WE WERE TALKING ABOUT HER AND REALIED THAT OUR CROSS STREET IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE HAPPENS TO BE BORDEAUX. :) 6-01-07

One of my favorite stories is Julie in FL purchased "Paddy" before she had twins, Jack and Suzanna. Paddy is so good with the children (still never leave children alone with any dog). Julie tells me he only chews on his toys. In the pix below Jack is getting sleepy. :) and Suzy playing with Paddy dog tags.
